Banished!

Hi gang!

I'm being banished from the kingdom. Doesn't that sound a little like a fairy tale? Princess Jill was banished just after the winter solstice...

I'm leaving as of Monday morning. This problem arose because I was a few days late in renewing my visa. My employer has thoughtfully terminated me so I can go home sooner than the end of the contract.
It has been great knowing you and I am sure you will all do well. Let's stay in touch through this blog.

Remember my advice, write so you can write better!
Your friend,
Jill

Hi friends,

I am now in the trimester of my pregnancy period so it was time for me to leave KAUST to my country for the delivery of my baby. I am in india now with the memories of the past.I had a good time staying in KAUST with new friends from different countries and the teachers Jill robins and Robin.I enjoyed attending Dr.Jill class .I had a chance to express my views in different topics of our discussion .Though it was embarrassing to see my own video of the presentation, I had an opportunity to correct my mistakes. On the whole I learnt many new words ,the presentation structure ,how to give a demo speech and layout speech .

Jill created this blog for the students to improve their writing English.Thank you Jill for creating a blog for us .I will be eagerly waiting for your comments on this post.

Thank you! My teachers

I took the suggestion from Dr. Jill Robbins, our wonderful teacher, to write something everyday to improve my writing.

This is my first post written in English. I know everything is difficult at the start, but I hope I can conquer the fear for writing and continue to do it everyday.

Here I want to say: Jill, Robin, thank you very much! These two weeks you helped me lot to improve my English. Both of you have extremely patience to bear our terrible English and teach us as much as you can.

And thank you Jill for opening this new blog for us.

Thanks!

Thank you to all of the terrific students for making a great party! Thanks for sharing such delicious dishes and I wish you a great eid holiday.

First Post, Last Day of Class

Welcome to the English on the Red Sea Blog! This blog was started by students in the Skills Lab to continue writing after our class has ended.
Please comment and give us suggestions on improving our English. We'll appreciate your feedback.
